MY HISTORY

My experience goes back to childhood. My grandfather worked as en engineer for Fermilab and had a love for building. He taught me how to paint interiors at age 12 and I was immediately hooked on maximalist, colorful living spaces. I painted the second floor of my parents house and my friend’s bedrooms.

My father is a luthier, specializing in cellos. He taught me a love for woodworking with homemade toys and an ability to fix most anything in the house with precision, patience, and creativity.

Through my 20 years in the theater, I’ve learned the principals of hard work, teamwork, preparedness, and flexibility. The magic of theater isn’t from talent alone, but working together for a higher purpose.

From the creation of “Wiggle Walls Murals”, “Willows Wands" wand and staff work, and home projects I have ventured widely in the arts of craftsmanship and decoration.
